After a long old wait she finally arrived today

1.6D. 136 Elite with VXR interior, heated screen, seats (as in heated seats not it's got seats).

Heads up display could be fun, drive too quickly at pedestrians and you get a warning. Only managed to get orange so far, going for a red tomorrow.

Just discovered that with the lane departure gismo that you can corner gently on the ring road with no hands on the wheel, until it bollox you for not having hands on the wheel. ......

Yes, lane-assist is very sensitive, but you can disable it.

It's just getting to know the quirks John. I haven't done enough miles yet to know it well enough but impressed by 50 mpg around town/ ring roads on my commute.

Taking it away Friday, how many miles can I get on a full tank?
