I've found it...the TPS, I've looked online for another one and none of them look the same. Mine is a cylindrical shape not like the others. Now, I'm frustrated, I might have to get it towed to a garage, getting on my hands and knees looking for stuff is getting a bit much for me....uinless there is someone in the area that wouldn't mind having a look for me please. If I can arrange it going to a garage beforehand I'll post here....

did you take it off and wrote down the part number? 9 out of 10 times if you put that in on Ebay it'll only show you the right part.. so i suggest you do that... if you don't want to write it down, take a picture of it and when searching type in the GM number that is on the part.
Also make sure if you get it off Ebay to check where the seller is located as sometimes you might get a Chinese copy if you don't make sure it is from a local seller.

Nope its still on there, straining my neck like that to find it didn't do me any good at all. When I can get round to it, I will see if I can get it out....unless I get help with it from elsewhere first. I won't be doing no chinese fakes, like for like change is the only way I am going with this, too important to mess up.

that is why i said use the GM part number... it will show up on eBay.. you can also get it from other vauxhall parts specialists websites but be ready to pay dealer prices... and if you are going that route.. you might as well stop at your local vauxhall dealer's parts counter and order the part... they will use your vin number to get you the right part anyway

Seems that the one by the pedal is the Accelerator pedal sensor, another issue that I've noticed is that the mileage is all gobble degook so, I'm now thinking its the ECU that's got problems, which happened before and I replaced it 2 years ago. ffs! Now the wind has ripped the fastening off of the car cover, I'm going to have to take the number plates off because the car is SORN arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh
