    Default Hopping front end

    Hi all
a few weeks ago I fitted new lowering springs and shocks all round..i have used Eibach E10-65-007-01-22 which lower my vectra 1.8 sri 07 plate by 15mm as the chassis is already 15mm lower from factory and sachs 312610 and 312609 which i cross ref'd from the genuine part numbers from the 7zap website and are listed for the vectra with sports chassis, now however the car, although cornering better, bounces along like its got balloons for tyres is this normal? i have seen other cars that have been dropped dramatically that bounce along but not when dropped by only 15mm surely. any ideas?

Shocks are not sports ones or at least very soft, they are not controlling the springs springiness. Got a link to the Sachs site? I was looking a few weeks ago for sport springs for my corsa and couldn’t find a site easily. Waiting for ecp to reply to my email as I now have a sri corsa with a high back end

I’ve fitted the same Sachs shocks to mine, but with new standards sri springs and it seems to drive fine, certainly no more bouncy than the old ones, passed mot with no mention about them. The handling is a bit odd, but I’ve not had it aligned yet as sure there’s something amiss at the rear so need to sort that first, but it’s not bouncy at all, just a bit wandering on some roads.
