What are insignia like

I have the vxr. So your probably not going be looking at buying one off them if your worried about running costs.
But if the 540 a year tax hasn't made you run a mile . Then only other things that seem to go wrong with the vxr are the chains ( some suffer others don't) and the haldex can break again some people seem to have had no problems.

I'm now on my 2nd insignia and love it, my first one was 2.0 petrol turbo vx line saloon, was a seriously quick car but vasically everything that could go wrong mechanically, did, thank god I had a good warranty with it, my new one is vx line red diesel and has been perfect so far, I can get 800 miles to a full tank of diesel easily on a run, great cars, I love the vec c but insignia is sooo much better Imo, buy as young as possible and if its from dealer get a good warranty in the deal, well worth it Imo, hth mate ��

Can anyone who owned Vectra CDTI (150 BHP) compare it to Insignia CDTi 160 BHP?

Got rid of my vectra last yr afte 10 years of ownership and got a insignia biturbo elite estate
been faultless added a few touches to it
mines a 13 plate 1 owner full service and he ticked every option going to the tune off £33 grand
I'm well pleased with it
