Default Washed it, Waxed it ferked off. Snowfoam

Well the snowfoam arrived one day early and I couldn't resist having a go.

Started at 6.45. Finished at 7.05. I only waxed the bonnet with NXT because I had other things to do.

TBH I was a bit disappointed with the performance of the Karcher lance. The foam was ok but didn't seem to stay on the car long. It was only when I rinsed it that it became apparent just how much had stuck. Took 5 minutes or so constant rinsing to get the last of the suds away.

Anyway quick wipe of the wheels and then used a water magnet for the first time. The bonnet was the only part I waxed.

The car has not been washed for two weeks but had several layers of meguires wax under the M56 gunk.

Here are the results of a 20 minute wash...

Thanks to Brian for all the advice.

    Well impressed.

Don't get me wrong It did the job fine and Brian had already said it doesn't produce as good a foam as other lances.

Foamed mine as well today bought the Karcher Foam thing and used B@Q Wash and Wax for pressure washers seemed to work ok, may look at getting some other form of snow foam.

    Looking nice and clean though.

Looks great Brocks ...........if you wanted you could foam it twice although I wouldn't think it would need it, the aim is to remove as much grime as possible as safely as possible and foam def does that

The Karcher bottle is one thee most cost effective and safest way of foaming your car...........we always get good results with the little old Karcher bottle.

We will be trying out another couple foamers on Saturday & Sunday which will possibly do away with the Karcher for all but the most dirty of cars.........I'll post what we find

    Bryan

PS if anyone finds they don't like their Karcher bottle I'll buy it
