HID or Xenon lights must be fitted over here in conjunction with headlamp washers & must automatically adjust for height to prevent dazzling of oncoming traffic. Not really enforced though. Personally I find using set of night breakers & correct adjustment gives very good light. 2014 on Insignia is another matter though. Brutal light output.
I've never had any problems with Night breakers in the dips and mains either.

iv no plans on changing them come mot ill leave them in , iv had them almost 2 yrs or so and had them correctly aligned at garage even done drive behind test to see how they were and no problems never been flashed , i usually do country roads and i never use the high beam yeah they look better but im more concerned about if i can see or not and the normal candle lights are atrocious and have none of these drls etc i think there are pointless ? i will report back once mot is due and let people know
