Two black Vectra 2,0t's

Last weekend the hatchback got new engine & gearbox oil, together with filters of course. The box got better (less notchy) but it would probably need linkage adjustment or something too.

A week ago the car started to stutter / jerk at constant speed and load, hasn't happened before but maybe it's time for the throttle body. Don't think it's just because of the fuel but we'll see.

Last week the hatchback's throttle body got cleaned. I think it was dirty even if it wasn't too bad. Car's running smoother now, worth the time. Think the estate will receive the same treatment.

Today the hatchback's brakes got some attention too. Soon time for new discs and pads.

Some updates for the hatchback... new spark plugs.

New rear shocks, one was leaking and since the car handles better now I guess it was time. Should probably replace them on the estate too.

Not much going on here... since my last post both cars passed the MOT and someone who apparently shouldn't have a license managed to run into the estate when it was parked, of course without leaving a note. Damaged headlight, scratches and dents on passenger wing and door. Guess it's a good thing my cars aren't worth much, still irritating though.

Got new wheels for the estate today, not snowflakes but they at least look better than my old 16" Saab wheels.
Rims are clean, car not so much

Yesterday the hatchback got fresh brake fluid, bled the clutch too. No issues apart from some stuck brake nipples as usual.
Unfortunately this didn't solve my clutch issues, gear changes are smooth with engine off but when running (and especially when cold) it's hard to engage 1st and 2nd gear. Seems to help if I pump the clutch and brake pedal but not yet sure about that. Will probably let someone take a look and hope it won't be too expensive.

Plan to replace the estate's brake fluid too soon... and sorry about the mess in my garage, it's small and I had to move stuff around to get to the car

Now I only need to solve the hatchback's gear linkage or clutch problem. If you know where to begin please tell

Gear changes are perfect with engine off. With engine running (and not warmed up) it's usually hard to get in gear. Pumping the clutch or brake pedal seems to help.

Not much happening here apart from the estate loosing both side mirrors within a few days, the good old glass falling off issue. Soon time for some updates though.
