No noise/sound from indicators?? & Spanner light

Hi all, a have searched high and low but can't seem to find any information on my car's problem.

Just bought a 55 signum and whenever I indicate I have to check it's on as their is no sound/noise to say their working..

Also I have the spanner light on and the garage sad something about the indicators or instrument??

Anyone have any ideas what's going wrong?

The codes need reading with a proper tool

Do the "door open" and "lights left on" warning chimes also not work?

Could be a CIM issue.

Ok I will see if I can find someone with a propper tool or see if a local garage can plug it in..

I'm pretty sure the car does not beep if I exit the car and leave the lights on but I will double check tonight after my shift.

Dunstable (Bedfordshire) is their a section to find out if anyone is nearby?

Just to confirm the car does not alarm at all when I open the door with the lights left on

It does sound like a CIM problem

I assume everything was working before the door swoop?

All the old stuff transferred to the new,or vice versa?


You could always go pay VX.If the worse comes to the worst.

Only bought the car a week ago. Current issues when I got it was heaters only work on no4 and needs new thermostat.

Then I noticed the spanner light came on. And on way home I found myself checking indicators as couldn't hear it.

Now the door bleep has been brought to my attention who knows what else.

Looks like a expensive fix aswell gonna check every fuse and relay in the car today just in case.

Hope it was cheap then..think of it this way...at least your getting to know your new car!
