    Default Front bumper mod

Gone back to a Vectra, got rid of my Sri 14 months ago, been pining like a pup, anyway, this headlamp removal grief, can we not cut a wedge into the front bumper to get to the bottom bolt,so you can easily remove the headlamps to change the bulbs easier?

If your wanting to modify the bumper I’d have a look in the modifying section where this kind of thing hopefully is. I personally wouldn’t cut mine I’d just lower it.

    That quite a good idea.

just cut a hole underneath the headlight big enough to get your hand in with a ratchet.

and some gaffer tape ( ideally as near to the colour of your car you can get ) to hide the modification

4 torx screws, 4/6 plastic rivets and less than 10 minutes hardly seem like an issue. I mean last time I had my headlights out must have been 6 years ago. Might be an issue if you were removing the headlights weekly, but ive on idea why you'd need to remove them weekly anyway.

Why do you want to remove the headlamps to change the bulbs? To change the bulbs easy on the nearside you just pull out the washer bottle neck out of the washer bottle then theres plenty of room to change the bulbs and on the offside you just remove the airfilter box complete just undo the jubilee clip from the maf ,pull the hose away and pull out the complete air filter box , bags of room then.
