    Its a government scheme to ecourage a healthier lifestyle, basically you pay for the bike each month before tax and Ni on your wages, save upto 50% on purchase prices and the company also save money on this too...

    Default ride to work scheme

    unless you're a professional mountain biker, dont waste £1000 on a bike

    Thats the maximum amount the scheme allows-you can spend as little as £275 -for £300 I bought a Giant Yukon hardtail which has the same alloy frame as the more expensive Giants.

    You just replace the cheaper bits ( pedals, chain and gear sprockets ) with better quality gear as they wear out, which they will if you're riding to work.

    24 speed - Even has disc brakes front and rear

    See my opinion on this scheme is different mate...

    The scheme is going to happen every year, so i am going to partake in it every year and basically buy the best bike i can. When it comes to next years new bike i will flog the 'old' one and start again...makes sence to me
