I would check the modifying section first to see if anyone else has done this.

I paid £40 for mine and it's from an Astra

Ive googled it outside of here and it should fit - the missing 6th gear wont mean the assy is any different to a 5 speed assy as there isn't a position for it to go to the position of the 6th gear has been deleted.

So you answered your own question

Best to make sure no? you and stu said you both have done this but thats for a different gearbox isnt it? So that might not work with whatever box is in the 1.8

But the gearstick is fitted with 4 torx screws and the linkage clips in so would the basic fitting of the gear stick would fit all vectra c no?

And if you'd taken time to actually read the post I put up at 01.01 yesterday morning, you'd have seen that my 1.8 has an Astra one Fitted.....the first mention of an Astra one on the thread.

And tbh.....why this has been moved to.the "tuning" section is baffling me......or does the new gearstick add bhp and know one has told us????
