2 bulbs not working but no warning on display?
I have a dodgy rear tail light so used to see regular warnings on the display about failed bulbs - a quick knock on the side of the light unit usually sorts it for a while
Having not seen any bulb failure messages for a while, I thought I'd check myself that all bulbs were working. As usual, the suspect tail light wasn't working and neither was the NSF parking light.
I wonder why I'm not seeing any info about these bulb failures?

I would give the contacts a good cleaning up with Emery paper and make sure the clip is tight.
As for the warnings????
It'll be like the missus, fed up telling you lol

Thanks RBH. It does seem like it's got the hump about the tail light!
The other parking light failed this evening - the warning appeared on the display and the failed bulb symbol lit up on the dash. Good to know at least some of the warning system is still working

Don't the rear lights have 2 x Bulbs in them? if one fails, the other immediately takes over. I could be wrong on this however I'm sure I've seen 2 in there..

when everything is ok - from top to bottom
Indicator
Tail light / brake light
Tail light
Fog tail light (drivers side only)
Reversing light
But when the brake light fails:-
Indicator
no light
Tail light / brake light
Fog tail light (drivers side only)
Reversing light
The bulb warning system should pick this up though.

Thanks for the replies It's not quite the same on the estate. I believe one of the lights that are mounted on the tailgate becomes the brake light when the 'proper' brake light (in the body mounted light unit) fails.
I started the thread mainly because of the lack of warnings on the dash or the display screen about the non-working bulbs. Still not sure why it's warning about some failed bulbs but not others
