I have to admit, I’ve had a quick go this morning and can’t seem to get the holder out, however I did manage to undo the holder for it. Just couldn’t get any further than that. This was on the near side with the filler spout removed.
I wasn’t removing the air box just for the fun of it, the off side may be different as it turned anti-clockwise and you may be able to remove it. However if it comes to it, removing the bumper isn’t a long job at all

Yeah that's as far as I got, can twist it, but can't get it out.

Imagine if there was just a hole in the tab that you twist, you could hook it out with a screwdriver.

Planning to remove bumper and change both as soon as I get the chance, probably tomorrow.

You know what, that’s not actually a bad idea, if I do have to remove the bumper, I may just do this, could even put a tie wrap through the hole so you’ve got a loop to pull.

Oh and I fully blame you if my front incators fail anytime soon lol

i have a pre-facelift and when i had to change an indicator bulb.. i removed the water bottle spout and i removed the 2 top bolts so that i could get the extra movement on the headlight cluster it was just enough to get the bulb out.... but if that fails.... yes remove the front bumper... especially if you have big hands

Facelift is slightly different. The back of the headlight where the indicator is located is right up tight against the inner wing. No room to get the bulb holder out at all. No choice but to at least partially remove the headlight, which means removing the bumper to access the bottom holding bolt.

    Thanks everyone
