    Default What is this switch

Below photo is a switch on my Vectra dash that I have no idea what it does, though it may be to do with traffic master but that has been removed, the led comes on with or without ignition. Anybody know what it might do?

I imagine you'd only get tired if you kept on pressing it for a while

    It's a bird puller.

When pressed, it drops breadcrumbs by your car

Seriously though, as Plasma said, it's an aftermarket switch and could be for anything. I've got an identical one in the van at work which is for switching on the strobing amber LEDs on the roof.

Could be for parking sensors, or some other after market fitted equipment, previous owner fitted a set of similar swithces in the roof console of the signum to control front and rear orange site lights.

It's an ex-007 car, press the switch & all your engine oil is dumped on the road, the chasing enemy then slide off the road......slight problem with the design, your engine then seizes up

I have pressed it and the led lights up but nothing noticeable happens. The car was my father in laws before me and he has no idea what it does, will have to remove it and see where wiring goes.
