Saved myself a packet on this years insurance

Damn.. I pay more in 1 month then some of you pay in a year.

Mine is just over £2100 for this year alone

thats it tho, a lot depends on age, where you live, any convictions etc, what car you drive, an NCB, and any other things i`ve missed, that means you either get a good deal on insurance or end paying over the odds, i can remember the days when insurance companies used to try and beat each other to win your custom, nowdays they usually do`nt even try.
My first car was a astra 1.3 belmont third party fire and theft, £500, my second car was a astra sr 1.6, same cover as before and only 50 quid extra, at the time i was living at my parents lol,
how times change lol

think it was £660 this year with all mods declared, 8 years NCD never made a claim (got 20 years NCD technically, but it’s all on my other car, so the Vectra is a second car and building it’s own NCD), drive about 15k a year. Thing about living in the ghetto I suppose

nah living in the east and south it seems the insurance quote are a lot higher... I complain about mine all the time but just reading yours i can't really complain i'm in suffolk and pay about half of what you pay a year... if i was in london it probably would be the same and i'm almost 49.. but being dutch and having a dutch license might be part of me paying more... back in the netherlands, my insurance costed me just shy of 250 euros a year... running a big old V6 (road tax though is ****** expensive paid about 400 a month for that, and unlike here the car insurance is based on the car and it's worth, instead of the driver and his driving history and the cars worth)
