goodyear Asymetric: have them on my mk4 golf they last long and are really good in the wet and comfortable... that said comfort depends on the height of the wall i had them in 225/45/18 and in 225/35/18 .... the last one was really really stiff so i went back and had them replaced with the 225/40/18 it's a lot better

We have just fitted the Avon ZV7 on the wifes Zaffy Tourer and they are really good, admittedly they replaced the rather Nexen n8000 that were on it. They are very quiet, give a great smooth ride and have proved to be very grippy in the dry and importantly in the wet, would get again no problem.

To be honest, I had falken recommended by a few people a few years ago and they wore way too quick, were OK on grip in dry but not in wet, compared to say michelin primacy , pt worn from a mate at Ats. I prefer two wheels to four and always push in corners and they inspire so much more confidence , less cabin noise and smoother drive.i won't bother with budget or supposedly SOME of the mid level brands now, would rather fit good used set of premium from someone I trust, for lot less money, more miles, better shorter stopping , no brainer to stay safe and happy

I had Avon ZV7s fitted on the front of my GSi a couple of months ago. They are really impressive. Superb grip - dry or wet. The turn in on cornering is precise. They are very quiet. I even think they look good! I'll be getting some to replace the ZV5s on the rear pretty soon.

I used to fit Falken FK-452s. They were good too but did not last long. I have no experience of the others in your poll question above.

I’ve recently fitted Dunlop sportmaxx2’s on our car. Replaced the Avon’s. Much much better in the wet.
hopefully they don’t wear as quick as the Avon’s.
But to be honest with a v6 fronts don’t seem to stick around for long
