    Default CDC Module for Signum 2.8T

    I'm getting one of Teapot's maps for the 2.8T.
    I'd really like to get the sport button and CDC set-up to run 2 maps - the mental one, and a round town one.
    There appear to be 2 types of CDC module, one of which is for the VXR.

    Does anyone know, if I'm just wanting the set up to be able to switch maps, does it matter which CDC module I use?

    I need some fuel economy to justify the big power.

    don't know what car my CDC came from, no-one asked when it was supplied, and it works fine.
    @plasma may have an inkling.

    Makes no difference which one you use as they all do the same thing ,
    I used a vxr one in my old 1.9 cdti and then it was later fitted to a 3.2 v6 .
    Have also fitted one from a 3.2 v6 into a 2.8 v6with no problems whatsoever
    Custom griill, Vx-line bodykit ,gsi boot spoiler, Irmscher evo star 20" alloys , Stainless twin exit exhaust

    Does the module have to be reset, or come with the code?
    Think I know the answer.

    Iirc No code needed , the cdc module does not form part of the immobiliser and as such is not coded to the car

    Got the thing set up, with @plasma loom and excellent instructions.
    Already had the wiring from the BCM and behind the Sport Switch, which was nice.
    Applied the @Teapot dual map thing yesterday, after a lot of faffing on my part.

    Did a test run from Leeds to Manchester (and back). Economy on the way there through the rush hour; Sporty on the way back - took it steady though.

    Results are impressive. I'm amazed anyway :
