Bought a comfort unit from Woody today. Drove over to his neck of the woods and he got his laptop out and set everything up for me. Top bloke and highly recommend his expertise to anyone

2007 1.9 CDTI Elite hatch 150. 2 x led boot lights, HID's, aux, comfort unit, circular wheels, overhead roof and see through windscreen
Many thanks for your kind words @Rhodie
It was good to meet up and sort out your install today.
I hope you find the new features offered by the Comfort Unit to be as useful day to day as the other owners have. And with the options you have in your car already, some of the new "extras" will soon begin to feel like they have always been there
Who knows what could be next on the list of upgrades for you but Park Pilot (Parking Sensors) is a comparatively easy retrofit with a loom from @plasma or even a reversing camera and aux in video to go with @dougie89 's audio aux in could be something to add with a VCU-01 Video Module
Things to keep in mind as you enjoy your Vectra-C anyway and sorry if your wife cleaned out your hard earned at the shops, while we were playing with your car today
Hopefully catch up with you again soon mate.
Kind regards
Woody
my dear sir. I have already had the pleasure of @Rhodie 's company
Hence my comment "to go with .... "
Hi Woody, I don't think the regeneration is working. Apart from the completed regeneration mileage that goes up, the display has not changed. Any ideas ?? 20170822_175443.jpg20170822_175443.jpg

As you have -40 degrees of Texhayst, I suggest you have broblems with exhaust sensors
Hi @Rhodie
I know that we have just discussed this over the phone, but I thought I would post up a reply to answer any questions generated in the minds of our forum readers.
With regard to the DPF Regen Monitor feature of the Comfort Unit, this is simply a monitor to show the progress of a regen that has actually been instigated by the engine electronics / sensors. It is NOT capable of starting a regen by itself
I'm not sure what temperatures should be expected here but perhaps one of our forum traders, @plasma @jon1.9cdti @Critch @Teapot can offer some advice with regard to this feature on certain diesel engines ?
HTH
Woody
The EGT should reach at least 600 deg C for regeneration to be successful.
Thanks Paul.
Perhaps another diesel CU user can post up a pic of their Regen screen when the car isn't actually doing a regen to compare the temperature readings ?
Having a petrol engine myself it's not something I can check.
Cheers
Methinks your DPF has been deleted....
So nothing to worry about
