Im not entirely sure if that will work with the Alpine H/U and the Veccys Canbus system, I may be wrong, but IIRC there is A dedicated unit made by Alpine that controls the Display and Allows use of the steering wheel controls - and im sure it is in the Reigon of £70 - If it is the one im thinking of it has a silver box attached to its cables which is a Controller - if I can find a link I will post it up

The latest Alpine catalogue mentions that Vectra display is compatable but I don't think the lead is available yet, If you find out differently please let me know.

The iDA-X001 is costing me £209.99 - No idea why as they are now £249.99 again

Which iPod are you going to use?

I bought the steering wheel control adapter and can't get it to work.. the stereo doesn't turn on when it's connected.. I haven't bothered with an adapter for the display as i got rid of the old display as you can see in my avatar.

Yes it's off the net but the price is now back to £249.99 - don't know if it was a one day special or what but it was originally £249.99 then I think for 1 day only £209.99 - then back at £249.99. I don't know if it was a mistake or what but I have an email confirmation of my order & price so I'm happy.

I've a 30gb video iPod on order as it has to be a G5 iPod to fully take advantage of the features offered by the HU
