    rolleyes anyone local?

    Hi guys

Anyone local to me? Cambs/Norfolk area..

That can adjust my gearbox linkage cables for me?
I still have the issue that i first mentioned when i joined the forum, and need it done..

Have been in contact with Vauxhall Kings Lynn, But its just the journey and waiting around for it to be done.

Would be fantastic if someone can do it for me at my home, or i can travel locally... Need someone that knows what they are doing, so i can get it done properly, so my gearbox is spot on..

    Will pay of course...

Video, incase you havent seen it, Of my Vectra..

    Thanks

Not being funny or cheeky....was the gearstick fitted to the car when you bought it?

Can you lift the trim and gator and take a picture of the cables going onto the bottom of the gearstick please.

Coz....if it's been fitted Straight in without any mods, then it won't work.

It's probably ok but at least it'll eliminate that issue.

Hi mate. Yes this is exactly how i bought the car..

Do i just gently pry up the trim from around the gearbox? or are there any screws etc? I dont want to remove the entire center console if i dont have to..

    Thanks

    Hi mate.
The plastic trim just pops off with your fingers. The Gator lifts out.....lift gator at handbrake end and pull it back slightly and it'll slide out if front end.
