Facelift estate mods

Having trawled through the forum trying to glean what I like/need I have a few queries and requests for advice - some personal preference, some not.
Car is 1.9CDTi estate , 150, Design in Ultra blue, pretty standard - 16" alloys.

Looking at kits for front and back, side sills and spoiler, maybe front grille. I take it most available are for pre facelift model? I do not intend to put twin pipes on the back (prob!) so again this may well restrict what rear lower spoiler I can use to fit with the side sills etc.? (have picked way through Steinmetz. Irmscher, VXR etc - can a combo look good?)

Have read various things in forum re upgrading steering and suspension if I change up to 18/19 alloys. Can I have a steer on that please. Probably will stick at 18 for combination of looks and road feel - like TSW Pace multi spoke look.

What about the suspension kit (30mm lowering) and twin exhaust system - not really thinking of money in that direction right now but is the advantage worthwhile?

Remap up to 190 bhp booked for late May. My budget is around £3K right now, or £500 if the wife asks!

Irmscher do kit both for pre and facelift. If you haven't seen it already, have a look at Pacarcher's car for an Irmschered up facelift (I assume it's a facelifty you're getting?) This thread shows one view, but have a browse through all the Irmscher trip threads for other views, as well as Pacarcher's own pics taken before the trip. You'll obviously find those quicker with the search function.

18" is defiinitely a nice balance of looks and road feel. When I went from 17" to 18" on my Signum (with Irmscher suspension) the feel and handling actually improved!

I don't think the Vectra Design has the SRi type suspension (slightly lowered) so it would be definitely worthwhile to uprate the suspension. I noticed a huge difference going from my Elite suspension to the full Irmscher kit.

For the Irmscher full kit you're looking at around £750 supplied and fitted at a dealer. About £200 less just for the parts.

Mines not Irmschered up at all, just the VXR Styling pack (XP pack) as specced on the car from new! However, I think it looks quite good.

This thread shows some decent pics of it anyway.

Damn right!! Looking at your pics I actually think it's better than the Irmscher option - just my opinion.

I think the styling kit certainly as nice as anything I have seen so far by Irmscher and certainly better than Steinmetz. This may be my route - got some phone calls to make re purchasing and fitting. Doing things the way round that I am going, ie buying a Design and upgrading is starting to feel the wrong way perhaps - however it was at a good price one year old and all the bits added still brings it up to about £16/17K. Mustn't grumble just need to get on and do it, for the summer is moving on.
