Some very wise words there. I've only ever done two consecutive laps, and that was enough. I've always been a fairly cautious person and so I was very careful for my first two laps, and gradually upped my speed as I began to learn the track. But I was only in a modestly tuned 1.9 diesel, so I can understand how people with much more powerful cars can easily get over-excited and make mistakes.

Also I agree, the most despicable driving I have seen has been by the German equivalent of our British 'CHAVs' in 20 year old VAG and BMW cars.

But as long as you recognise them approaching in the mirror and let them past before they attempt any stupid manoeuvres, you are generally safe.

There's a discussion in this thread: https://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showt...018-discussion about it. Probably April by the sounds of it, there's an international VBOA meet in the latter part of March, so we're trying to avoid a clash with that.
