Well I got up early with the intention of giving both our cars a good detailing.
First I soaked the wheels with a Gilmour gun full of super snow foam, But on Larisa,s car I sprayed Megs Wheel Brightener [as she has no wax on here wheels]. Then cleaned the wheels with a wash mit[used only for the wheels].
Next was to Pre-wash both cars with the Gilmour and super snow foam, gave it time to soak in, then rinsed off. gave them both a wash with Megs NXT soap/shampoo, I used a wash Shmitt, [ Steve L200 introduced them to me at the Leeds Charity Detail day. I was impresed with it so bought one for myself].Then rinsed to soapy water off, and let drian for awhile, when I had a cup of tea.
Dryed them with Three micro fibre drying towels.
Then on my car I put a coat of Megs number 21 sealent, useing my Porta Cable and a Blue SFX pad.
Then useing an aplicator I put a coat of Victoria Concours Wax,
Then the black trim was treated to a going over with Back to Black.
Lasty I waxed the wheels with a coat of Wheel Wax...... That went on very easy but was a bit of a pig to get off.
Now for Larisa,s paint work I polished with the PC using some Meg,s number 80 on a white SFX pad, [there was some marring that I have never seen before].
Then I went over it again with Meg,s number 83 this time [that removed the marring a treat].
Next was a coat of Megs number 21 sealent.
Finaly I could not decide which was to use either the Victoria or CG 50/50 or Colinite 915, I am not sure which has the best durability the 50/50 or the 915 but in the end I chose the Colinite 915.
The black trim was also treated to some Back to black.
Finally both cars had the windows cleaned with Detailers Pride Kristal vision Glass cleaner.
After all that hard work the cars look supurb, the neighbours think I,m mad. Larisa is pleased, and I am well............worn out.
Here are a few photos of the finished work not too many the camera,s battery went flat before I had took enough....
