Automatic transmission fluid change help please.

Hi,
Could anyone recommend a garage to carry out an auto transmission fluid change and any necessary filter that's required. Have posted in the general forum section and was advised to post in my regional forum. Thanks in advance.

I was told that the filter in the af40-6 (Aisin Warner TF-80SC) is not accessible externally, and can only be replaced by dismantling the unit.

I found a picture of the filter here, definitely looks like an internal part...

Alliance Automatics stripped and rebuilt my Carlton box and were at the time doing the units from Phoenix (Now GO) Vauxhall.
I presume they are still there. 0208 688 1866. Unit 3 Pilton estate Croydon. CR0 3RY

Thanks Teapot, I wasn't sure what box type I had but a phonecall to Alliance Automatics confirmed your suggestion. A previous post on the general forum advised to get the filter changed, but obviously there are several types of boxes fitted to these cars. A replaceable filter would certainly be useful.
