right, they are NOT all the same, and you will need part number 93188212 if you've got a manual gearbox..it's diffferent again if you've got an auto..

No idea on price without making a call on monday....

to change..remove roadwheel and undo the main driveshaft nut..now either remove the lower hub balljoint, or the damper's clamp bolts..you want to get enough room to get the driveshaft out of the outer bearing..

now, you can either change it on the car, but i prefer to snap the driveshaft out of the box and change the CV with the shaft in a bench vice..but if you remove the shaft, block the hole to stop the fluid leaking out..

the part number is for a kit with new clamp rings and new gaiter.. so change the lot.... remove the boot clamps, cut the gaiter off and release the circlip to remove the joint..then wipe the shaft off, slip the new gaiter up the shaft, clip on the new CV and charge it with grease..install the gaiter to the CV and pinch the clips up.. re-install the shaft into the car, and re tighten the driveshaft bearings nut..

Cheers Mark thats great info will phone dealer tomorrow,by the way my car is quite noisy when driving, you can also feel a slight vibration and when going round left hand bends you can hear a sort of clicking noise from o/s/f .Do you think this is the cause.

nope, never heard of them, but at that price if it fails then i'd not be too worried...they have to be SOME good as the sale of goods act means they have to be of merchantable quality....I'd try one..
