Insignia Day Lights Bulbs - Loose!

Had my 09 Insignia, 2.0 diesel for nearly 2.5 yrs now, put 55k miles on it, no real problems. Love it.

However, now got issue with the day driving lights.

One bulb blew. Changed it (always difficult to get to), but it doesn't fit very well. It seems looses in the connector. Now sometimes it stops working, tap it and it comes back on. Go over a bump and it goes off. The bulb is loose in it's black connector as if the bulb doesn't fit correctly. That was the left one, the right one blew and have the same problem. The replacement bulbs (from Halfords) look identical to the ones I replaced. I have even put a tiny bit of glue on them, worked for a week, now both go on and off going over bumps.

Any ideas please?

Sounds like you need to give the spring contacts a tweak and close them up a bit.
