    Default Fitted Parrot CK3100

    Yesterday I fitted a Parrot CK3100 kit to my Signum with CD70 Navi.
    I know loads of peeps have done this, so I won't bore you too much with the details
    Basically I just fitted a piece of multi-core cable into the quad-lock connector on the CD70 (for the line +, line -, mute, 12v and ground) and dropped this down to the space behind the "trinket tray" under the climate controls. There's a surprising amount of space behind it.
    I took a feed off the ciggy lighter socket up to the same spot for ignition switched power.
    I bundled-up the Parrot unit and all the excess cable harness into this space. The exception was the "Mute cable" which is bundled with its wires in the space to the right of the glovebox. The mute wire from this cable is threaded through to the main unit too. I then connected my multi-core cable to the relevant Parrot harness cables.
    I fitted the display and mic using a combination of the bits they give you with a wire clip between the r/h heated seat switch and the dash trim strip. The cables go in between the strip and the CD70 then down the front between the CD70 and the switches to the top of the climate controls. Careful routing over the top of the climate controls allow them to drop down the back to the main unit.
    All works and I'm pretty please with the result;

    No, I didn't bother with it. Firstly it costs a few quid, and second I read that it was difficult to get all that cable in place behind the HU.
    I just bared some cable and poked it into the back of the car loom plug, then secured with small tie-wraps.
    Not sophisticated but it works.

    Cheers,
    Marty.
