for my engine this method is impossible, the diesel leak is under the valves cover.

It means they need to be removed, and handed over to the person or company that will test them for you.... but it is a diesel... try a diesel purge with LiquiMoly diesel purge.... it will lubricate and clean up the nozzles of your injectors thus restoring the spray pattern... if that doesn't work for you and you still have a problem you'll have to remove them and do as I explained in the first place.

Well, more parts have been purchased and a bargain at that, when I was down at trax few weeks back had a look at the local Facebook market place posts and cane across a vxr rad pack that was fitted to a Courtney sport built 410hp VXR, but funds never allowed it at the time so had to leave it be.

Fast forward 5 weeks and the advert was still up on the Facebook market place, I now had funds, and fired the guy a message to see what the deal was as the advert had been up for about 5 months so was half expecting it to have been sold especially given its price Vs New, but it was still available, only issue being it's location to me it's in Birmingham and am in fife about 330 miles away, did think about seeing if I could get it collected locally but then thought still going to need to pick it up, so had the night off work on Friday so arranged to pick it up Friday night so leaving the house at 10 in the morning in the signum ( did try and get my dad's 1.5 tdci cmax fir the trip but they were needing it and aren't willing to drive any if mine) so signum it is ( prob would have been cheaper in the vxr in the long run but it's got its own issues to contend with plus needing new front tyres and a forecast if heavy rain I wasn't going to risk it. So off to Birmingham I set, stopping off near Sheffield to pick stuff up.

Anyways, got down there had a good chat with the guy who had completely forgot about putting the advert up till I messaged him, hit the road back home by this point the rain wasn't taking its time to come down which makes my choice being the signum even better, apart from the wiper linkage needing replaced badly, but that's for another day.

Quick pit stop at charnock Richards for fuel for both me and the signum.

Finally getting in the door at 1am this morning.

Picked this up for the small sum of 350 notes, even taking the 100 quid fuel bill into consideration it's still a saving of 1000+ over what Courtney charge new for their kit's even if they don't supply the forge stuff anymore for their cooler's.

Gave the intercooler and radiator a clean out as was clear they had been home to some garage wildlife at sompoint plus the intercooler had the usual coating of oil vapour on one if the intakes, so flushed it out with some TARDIS which is a tar and glue remover but works well for breaking down oil as well, rinsed out and rebuild the pack but just the rad and intercooler as not sure if I'll use the fans on the car or the ones that came with the rad pack.

One thing I will say after breaking it down, there is absolutely no weight in the radiator at all, it's fairly light atleast compared to the intercooler.

Fitting will need to wait till I get some coolant pipe as the courts radiator reroutes the turbo coolant return into the radiator instead of straight into the expansion tank to help the coolant thermals as your not putting hot coolant straight back into the engine after it's been super heated by the hot turbo, plus need to see about some brackets that are potentially missing to help mount it not that they are critical as can probably fabricate some myself.
