2.2 Direct Juddering / Engine light comes on at 30mph+
Hi Guys,
My 2.2 Direct has lately developed an issue, Yesterday it went into limp mode with the Car/Spanner icon showing on dash but I restarted and it was fine
Now today I've been using it fine until this evening it started juddering really bad, The car drives but judders badly and doesn't seem to want to go above 30+ when it does the engine light comes on
It's not long has a new fuel pump fitted by the previous owner and I've checked and cleaned the spark plugs and tried unplugging the MAF sensor and it made no difference
Thanks

It's already had a new fuel regulator (not long before I bought it) Both the fuel pump and regulator got done (perhaps they had issues??) They couldnt of packed in already surely.
I've already had the coil pack off but not sure how to check that? I checked the spark plugs they seemed fine tried switching around and cleaning them etc It's really annoying as the cars been fine all day lol always the way

Guesswork was never a reliable method of fault diagnosis.

I've had it plugged in and it threw up a load of codes at first, MAF and swirl flaps which they checked and some minor things they cleared the codes and then the only thing that come up after a few attempts was cylinder 1 misfire.
I've replaced the spark plugs and still the same juddering and going no more then 30mph then light comes on

Mine did this and was fouling the plugs, high pressure fuel pump.
basically there are two fuel pumps, one on the side of cylinder head the other in the tank, which one did previous owner change?
