    Default Brake calipers

    Need some positive enthusiasm guys.

Have got the required paint to change the colour of my callipers from boring standard metal to sexy, naughty, brilliant, call it what you may - red.

Just need some advice of how to do it...already read loads of "How To's", but just need a few pointers. Such as a)the pads - should i remove them first? b)should i do just the front ones or all four? c) I have Greenstuff pads install now, should I paint them to red too?

Just a little advice please..... then I'll crack on with before and after photos - it's the law!

    a) No need to remove pads - can all be done in-situ
    b) All four (just my opinion - I did the same)
    c) I wouldn't paint the pads, the paint may be enough for them not to seat properly

I sprayed mine Black in the end, as requested by Mrs Spoons. They look great now that I've done them.

I left the brake pads in situ, exactly as Duncan described.

Good luck, and looking forward to the pics...

When i did mine i took the calipers off and hung them from the springs, helps you to get into the hard to reach place which nobody will ever see anyway, so i guess in reality theres no point doing it. *sighs*
