Performance Tuning
Hi guys,
I'm looking to make some changes to my Vectra to get the most of this great vehicle. I've been checking out the forums and I've seen some great cars that you all have.
It seems like everyone knows all the secret places to get stuff and I'm having trouble getting things together. I'd really appreciate people pointing me in the right direction.
The basic changes I'm looking to make at the moment are; adding a cold air intake induction system, reprogramming my ECU, adding a new exhaust system, replacing my spark plugs and upgrading my brakes & shocks.
I'm having trouble finding a lot of stuff that would work on my car. It seems that most of the sites I'm finding don't supply for a Vauxhall Vectra. I figure this would be the best place to find out more about this and I'd really appreciate any advise or suggestions you all can make.
I'm driving a 2008 Vauxhall Vectra SRi 1.8
Thanks in advance

for the brakes most people settle for 3.0/3.2 brakes, 314mm front / 292mm rear, a massive improvement over standard.
springs and shocks, a good few options here, but IMO you'll not go far wrong with Eibach springs on your standard shocks if they're OK, or Bilstein shocks if they need changing.
exhaust, find a reputable stainless steel exhaust place locally, there's loads dotted up and down the country.
perhaps Gary @HarrysDad has some thoughts on the ECU, he runs the same car. (that is, if fatherhood isn't getting in the way!)
because........SIGNUM!
