Are there any hardware differences between the 230/255/280bhp versions? E.g. different turbo or injectors?

If the hardware is identical then it would be very easy to 'upgrade' the lower output ones to 280(std) or 300(remapped) bhp by writing the appropriate software to the ECU.

iirc the later models have a revised cam profile and possibly a difference in the cam phasing solenoid according to courts website anyway which is why the later ones can see about 10-15 HP more on a stage one map.

I dont know about the 230 version but the 255/280 can be run on the same map. You'll get more feedback from the 255 as it's power is going to increase more in comparison to the 280

So will a 255 VXR ECU and CIM swap work okay with a non VXR 250 Special engine so that the sport button can work ?
