    Default supercharger

im interested in analaysing the option of adidng a suprercharger to my vectra. the only prob is i cant google any v6 superchargers, i cant find the irmschacher (however thats spelled) i 500 kit. so, anyone knows who makes a supercharger ideal for a 2004 3.2 vectra. and so, can you keep it street usable, or even street legal?

If you wanted to fit the Irmscher supercharger kit, I hope you have a large bank balance. Whilst at the Irmscher factory last week we saw the original i35 with it fitted at a cost of....

    19,000 Euros

    That's £13,571 sterling or 296,285.23 mexican pesos.

If you know a good mapper it wouldn't be the hardest thing to spec one and do it yourself if you have a good idea on what you are doing.

Would have to lower the compression slightly though ideally.

Beauty of superchargers is you don't need boost control like turbo chargers and as such the standard ECU will be adeqate. Just have to check your MAF sensor has enough range

IIRC - the supercharger will only fit on LHD cars?!

I would assume that a Mexico sourced car would be LHD?

Why not just take one out of a different motor all together? As the doc says get it set up then you will be fine. I was thinking of getting a mini cooper supercharger and having a super and turbo charged diesel. That would be fun! But i havent really thought about it much so its probably alot more in it than i hope for
