    Default in car dvd screens.

has any of you guys got these into the sunvisors or in the headrests?

I wanna link two up to a ps2 and use it as a DVD player as well as the games machine, but also have the Audio come through speakers.

any ideas how to do the above or pics?

    Cheers

Matt has them in his signum. I am looking at doing this as well, when I enquired about using a playstation as a dvd player as well I was told they will skip as they don`t have antishock as they are designed for home use, for playing dvd`s you are a lot better with an incar dvd player . You can make the audio come out the speakers by using an FM modulator ...

cool, thing about anti shock though... watching dvds whilst the car is moving is not a good idea...lol, as My attention was taken from the road.

But what you could do is get some kinda foam surround around the ps and that should stop it from jumpin! as it I had a dvd player in the car before and dint really jump unless it hit a mahoosive bump!

I had a PS2 in my last vec GSi & it never jumped.

The wiring should be fairly straight forward, just send the audio into the Aux -in of the headunit and loop the video through the monitors.

I'm going for the PS2 in the glove box and monitors in the sunvisors when i've got the cash. I would put monitors in the headrests but i don't like the idea of them being on show (i don't have tinted windows).

Can anyone advise on how to run power to them? I'm worried about running wires near the airbags!

I went for the roof mount monitor with DVD player and wireless Headphones.
    I bought this lot.

    http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro...s_id/4742.html

I am very pleased with it. excellent picture quality, i attached the IR sensor for the DVD on the top of the B pillar and the IR sensors for the headphones are at the top of the C Pillars. I just hang the headphones over the rear load guard.
DVD is mounted in the Boot which the kids can access through the access panel between the seats, and at the bottom of the rear seat are the additional connections that i wired in for the PS2 to plug straight in.

for £299 and a day of taking my car apart and fitting it all in, i am over the moon with it.

sorry about the quality of the photos, just took them with my camera phone, whilst at work.
