    Default Cheap Solution

    2 Gigs £30

    Belkin cassette link £15

Went this way because I didn't want to take the original Vx unit out, tried my FM transmitter with it but still got modulation and breakdown through it, so I saw this cassette link in Halfords and thought lets give it a go, almost a hardwire this way so there's no middleman between trans and receive, MP3/4 player holds around 30 cd's at 160kbps, crystal clear and nice sound quality.

It's getting stealthed soon, only took this shot so you can see it's size etc.

I see you get more miles to the gallon than I do.

Yeah lol, but only a few less than some V6 owners would have you believe

It's pretty good, all you really notice is the cassette wheels turning between tracks during the silence.

One thing I thought about last week (and promptly forgot about) was all the people that have fitted parrot/hands-free kits all mention the line in at the back of the audio hu. I was toying with the idea of using one of the switch blanks to put a 3.5mm jack socket in and connect it to the line in.

Similar sort of thing to what you've done here, but more elegant perhaps Take a damn sight longer to do as well tho

you inspired me vv!!!! I remembered that i've been wanting to get a tape adaptor for ages! The beauty of the ccr2006 having tape cd and tuner! So i popped to tesco and got one for £5, and managed to stealth it pretty good too! just the plug in the storage pocket and a tiny bit visable from the tape slot! Now I've got 60gb's of music instead of a few cd's which don't ****** play anyway! Here's a rubbish pic, i tucked it in better after i took the picture.
