heater blower motor problem - again

Ok so a few months ago i had the old heater blower only working on setting 4 and after a quick search of these forums i found i needed a new resister pack so i bought that and that fixed my problem, BUT since yesterday my heater is only working on setting 3 and 4 and nothing from 1 and 2 which is strange as everything i search for online specifically says there problems are the first 3 speeds not working.

so i replaced the thermal fuse on the resister pack, got a new pollen filter and its still the same, so now im stuck asking for help if anyone can think of anything else that could be causing it to work on only 3 and 4?

Also the heat is fine on 3 and 4 it works perfect just 1 and 2 is completely dead!

Did you get a genuine resistor for the heater or a copy one online--for the price think I would of bought genuine,if you have bought a vx one then it could be faulty---Dave

i bought it from ebay so i'm thinking it was a copy the listing only said ''NEW Vauxhall Opel Corsa C Heater Blower Fan Resistor Pack ''

where would i go about buying a genuine one from?

its worth a try if it could be faulty.
