Stepping down...
After a few years as an admin for Vectra-C.com I've decided that for various reasons, some personal, one club based but primarily because my heart really just isn't in it any longer and I always said I'd walk away if I felt I wasn't able to give my all to the club as it deserves the best that any of us can be, that it's time I moved aside. So I've taken the decision to step down as Administrator and server admin.
I notified the other admins of my decision last month and said I would stay on until the end of the year in order to give some time for anything that would need handing over etc. I may end up still doing some server work after the end of the year until a handover can be done to either one of the others or a replacement but it will only be on an "as neccessary" basis and I will have no admin privileges after the end of the year.
I am not leaving the club, simply stepping down and walking away from the admin position, techy stuff and general every day stress it can sometimes bring.
I've already said this in the admin forum to them in private, but I'd like to publically thank the other admins @plasma @bigmac and @Big-Pete, the last few years have been a lot of fun and a lot of laughs as well as a hell of a lot of hard work and we really have worked very well indeed as a team . Believe me when I say you would not believe the amount of work that goes on "behind the scenes". My admiration and thanks to all three of them for everything but especially to Pete for entrusting me with the admin role initially.
I have no idea if I will be being replaced or not and that's not for me to decide so I will leave this just as a simple, so long and thanks for all the fish and you'll see me about, just not as a redtop.
On a final (and different) note, I'd like to take the opportunity to wish every single one of you and your familys a very happy Xmas and New Year from both @Amy and I and here's to a great 2017.

I for one would like to thank you Ian for your support, not only in an admin role but also for your advice about being an RO you gave me at Billing. Your a genuinely nice guy and I always look forward to seeing you and having a chat. Glad your staying on the forum as you would be missed if you decided to leave (we know where you live so you can never leave)
