Depends on what boost yours is running now? Ive been slack and not ran many tests on ours (the 2.8 R&D mapping project), need to take the car out with a couple of logging tools really and go from there.
The objective of the mapping project was to alter the off sports available power and how it was delivered or be able to alter it to however a person wanted as you can have full power off/on but with a nice gentle delivery as above.
The big boys dont seem to like offering this and even if they did they wouldn't test and test over like i have, by then they probably have more programs to alter maps in one go unlike me going in bit by bit.

- Fitted a new genuine OS rear tailgate strut to help it stop stopping on its way up. Supplied from GPS on eBay for £20! Although the one coming off i cant move but then i can't replicate the forces involved so If its still stiff when cold after this ill do the NS which should be a lot easier. Basically its about taking the clips off and pulling up and out with twisting of the cable base and again at the top and keep hold of the top bit as the cable wants to pull it self back in and its very strong. The system just works on a pull so the 2 struts push it open with the motor controlling it up and then pulling it back down to shut. A prop for the tailgate was needed as the remaining strut could not hold it all. Once propped all the work can be done from there until its refitted.

- Fitted a new NS tailgate strut for the power system as the OS one didn't really help. I did not that the new NS strut couldn't be compressed by my overweight body but the old one once off could. Bought from GPS again through eBay which they seem to like for cheap deals The NS is easy to do just pop the clips back and it comes off with ease, i did prop the tailgate but found the remaining strut held the tail up easily and i could move it about up and down if needed. Yet the other week the NS strut could not hold it up at all which i nearly had an estate boot buried in my head Of course i cleaned up the ball joints and surrounding area before fitting the not strut. Does open smoother so this should be the missing link in stopping it from jamming at the bottom when opening as there is no other part of the system which pushes the tailgate up and open.

Fair enough on the parts system shows Opc/Vxr so got me wondering. The hubs are standard apart from ids/non ids models.
