    confused I need some reference

Mates, I´ve been in the forum for a few months now, and I´ve learned a lott about Vecs, thank´s to all of you, but to be honest I feel like in the dark ages still. Why? first of all I´m not familiar with many of the terms used, and being honest again, I´m not too familiar with the 3.2 V6 engine that my car has. I´m the type of guy that likes to get their hands dirty once in a while, which I haven´t done much since I bought the Vec.
I´m wondering if any of you mates have some sort of a reference book, pdf, link or such, that will help me learn more about Vec´s. All of the above with lots of sketches )

    Thank´s!

Very soon, it looks like Haynes are going to release a workshop manual on the Vaectra C, this would be the ideal solution for you, I think. Not sure if you would have access to these manuals in Mexico, but I'm sure it could be arranged to post one out to you when they are released

Any reason why it has taken Haynes 4+ years to release a manual for the Vectra C?

Folks, please - no more posting about the Vx software and where you can find (illegal) copies of it. I've now had to delete three posts and PM the posters to explain why.

    Thanks

According to the Haynes web site, August 07 for "Vauxhall/Opel Vectra Petrol & Diesel (June 02 - 06) 02 to 56".

Only problem is in the past a lot of the Haynes manuals have NOT covered V6 models, or they have released a V6 specific one. This was true of the Vec B, which never had a V6 specific one (you could get the 4 cyl manual for the bodywork and the Omega V6 for the engine, but that would be hard work IMO).

Be interesting to see what it does actually cover when they release it.

Which specific version were you meaning? The proper Tech 2 unit that Vx use with the CanBus module is several thousand pounds!! Were you meaning the one that BruceyBonus linked to on ebay? - just seen it sold for £16 but does it actually do anything useful?

If you've seen something that would be useful then we could put it to people. Just a fault code reader may not be that useful?
