@plasma is one of the forum traders and has the means to recover the security code from the screen (possibly other modules too) but provided they were all paired together then they will all have the same security code.
I will leave you to contact him via PM now.
Good luck with the mod

Try a CD70 with an add on aftermarket DAB unit (assuming that you do actually want DAB) ?
It's not the same but it works in my car.
From memory I think you can find them on eBay with a search using the model "CTDAB-VX1.2"
Obviously you will need a CD70 with Aux In to achieve your other objectives.

I'm already in contact with plasma :-)
I wouldn't mind DAB, but I had given up on it since the original Opel/Vauxhall DAB module isn't DAB+, and that's all we have now in Denmark.
If the CTDAB-VX works with CDC40 it could be an option, but since I have the Bury I can stream just abut anything from my phone.

Someone on here can clear both the radio and DAB unit and re-pair them. I cheated and bought a connects2 with Fakra antenna which I am fitting today. I’ll let you know how good the quality is after testing.
The DAB thing sounds great, but think it is a lot of work for me being an amateur, especially if I screw something up. :-)

Not really. Your own original question remains: Can you use the DAB entry as AUX without the DAB module in place?
I haven't connected my Bury CC 9068 yet, but if I switch the radio to DAB it says "bla bla not present".
I can live with that if the radio actually feeds the signal coming in to the speakers, but if it completely refuses to process the signal because of the missing DAB module I'm screwed.

I dont think you can, I enabled DAB using op-com but the stereo will not enable DAB without the module, it has to be present, if you have the module and it is not paired then it gives some message, I can’t quite remember (safe mode possibly) but basically locked. At this point I’m guessing the signal is dropped.
I installed a connects2 today with Bluetooth module. very impressed with the quality but a lot of buttons every time you want to use it.
out of curiosity, I keep seeing these cables on eBay for AUX with cdc40 in the title. Wonder if anyone has tried it and what is the result?

Been through most of the ice mod section and there’s mentions of an adaptor lead for dab, but no links to any, but would this set up work?

What part of "don't waste any more money" above and aimed at the original poster, didn't you understand ?
Or are you on a completely different "mission" ?
