Still doesn't sound like they did proper testing
more code read swap parts.
a car that has a dead Miss should be fairly standard to diagnose.
or at least have direct indication as to fault.
so compression, ignition, fuel.
New plug means nothing. Could still be causing fault unlikely but still possible

have now got opcom, puts out the p1191-52 code. looking at readings it has a desired pressure of 5000kpa, and reading hovers around that by a few hundred either way on tick over. question is, is 5000 enough, keep reading 6000 is minimum required but opcom is looking for 5000. bearing in mind this pump was taken of a car running 100% correct before on mine. unsure on what to look for with readings obtained, voltage from regulator, o2 sensors etc, both o2 are reading different, 1 is basically half voltage of other. any pointers?

will do tomorrow, guessing a stored code as eml not on, will take 2 readings 1 with light on 1 without and compare the 2 side by side. need to take it for a spin and get light on.

Looking wrong direction if it's single cylinder misfire.
but 50 bar pressure is ok
front lambda should switch 0.2-0.8 minimum 4 times second
rear should read 0.45 ideal world
should read over 0.8 and drop zero on wide open snap throttle
look at duty cyl of the pressure Reg.
bare in mind data refresh rate of a scan tool data may well miss a fault could need oscilloscope to catch it.

update
opcom when no warning shown verses p1191-5a.
section 1 all values stay as they where
section 2 fuel pressure feedback is approx. 5000 normal, with fault drops to 380. fuel pressure feedback voltage drops from 1.6v to 0.8v
section 3 B1S1 o2 sensor 1480mv rises to 1515mv, B1S2 o2 sensor rises from 430 mv to 742 mv, B1 short tern fuel trim goes from 1% to -30%.
have then removed regulator plug and checked voltage at 3000 rpm, reads 0.6-0.7 v.
car went into limp with car and spanner light on. no misfire recorded. guessing looking like hp pump, would this cause the misfire also.

High pressure pump would be my suspect
but 380 I'd say your low pressure pump is working hard too
still in tolerance but more to lower end

due to me being an idiot I forgot this is the post requesting diagnostic help, this was my second post. in my original post in other section, I didn't explain in this 1 that I have swapped the hp pump, for what was when removed a few months ago a good conti pump, have swapped coil pack also, regulator test ok. I am getting same problem with both pumps, though did drive ok with no limp when this 1 first put in. just had hesitation occasionally.
