Default Heater Blowing Cold - 3.2V6 with Climate Control

    Hi Guys

Sorry to add another thread on this topic, but none previously posted have any answers that match my symptoms.

Heater on my Vectra worked fine until last night. Blower set to "Auto" as per usual. Turn the Climate Control up to 24 degrees, get no heat from face vents at the sides and no air from the middle vents - I think this is normal as the air-flow from the centre vents appears to vary with the CC temp setting. Turn it down to "Lo" and get a full blast of cooled air from all face vents. Back up to 24 and air flow as before. No warm air around the foot wells either.

As I turn it from Hot to Cold or back again,, I get a clicking sound - seems to come from the RHS behind the steering column. AFAIR, that always happened when the heater was working OK.

I used to get the regular clicking from the recirculating flap servo - even when the ignition was off - so set it to "fresh-air" and disconnected the wire about 7 years ago - to stop the battery going flat.

Anyway. Just removed the passenger glove box, et al and the flap servo, mentioned on this forum and in YouTube Vids is operating the flap OK.

Checked the hoses to the heater matrix, both hot. Car runs OK at 80 to 90 degrees, so thermostat probably OK and water level in header are up to mark.

Any other servos or valves I need to check and where are they located ?

I thought the Resistor Pack was used to control the Blower Speed on the simpler (non CC) systems with switch selectable blower speed. (Reading through problems and watching YouTube reference Resistor Pack seems to confirm this)

The blower on my Climate Control works OK.
