    Default Rain sensor Wipers

    Hi All,

i read on here somewhere (cant find it) that if you lock your car with the windows open then it rains, the windows should automatically close. is this only on the higher spec models? or hit or miss whether Vauxall fit this....I have the rain sensor wipers, my veccy is an 03 SXi 2.0 DTi

Felt such a wally standing in the rain today with my car locked and windows open ....and nowt happened

Car needs to be double-locked for that feature to work.

I've tried it before, like Duncan said, it needs to be double locked to work.

slightly off, but was driving last night when it started raining and so put the wipers on. It stopped so I turned them off. Then it started raining slightly and the wipers worked on their own, or did I flick them without realising ? after a couple of more times of this happening , have come to conclusion that I must have rain sensitive windscreen previous owner must have ordered it as it was never mentioned and it was an optional extra. Now if only I had dipped headlights that I could see the road in front of me then I'd be well happy
