Z30dt Dpf and Cat removal
Has anyone removed the dpf and the cat from these and what were the results ?
I know you need them for mot but its not that much hassle to just bolt it back on once a year to mot it ?
I was always under the impression that with a turbo engine the exhaust just needs the get the gases out as fast as possible,no need for back pressure or scavenging of the cyclinders.
Just something iv been thinking about.

I think @MarkV6cdti has a dpf removed and mapped out.
There is no one on the forum afaik that will be able to remap and will map out dpf on v6 3.0 cdti. Denso ECU scares people

@paulvectrac can remap the Z30DT engines. I've got my dpf knocked out and full stainless system with no boxes, sounds a lot nicer and goes just as well if not better. Highly recommended it and can't wait to get mine mapped to see the gains

Not mapped yet, just unplugged the EGR so it doesn't regen until I get it mapped out. Currently looking at getting a full dpf delete pipe fitted as I know a friendly MOT tester so not an issue, but it's cambelt time this week so it'll have to wait
