    Default Monkey Attack

Got attacked by the Longleat Monkeys on Saturday, lost 3 "Spoons" fins and the nozzle for my rear washer jet. Plus they had a nibble of my rear spoiler as well right through to the paint and primer.

Obviously it is an easy target for them on the Vec as I saw two other Vectras in the car park with the rubber hose sticking up from the aeriel assembly.

So my question, does anyone know the part number for the rear washer jet nozzle. From what I can tell it looks like it just attaches to the hose so must be available separately

    Cheers

What sort of aerial you got? Normal, SatNav, DAB? The aerials are different depending on those and I think the washer nozzle as well.

P.S. You must be to take your car to those places! I'd never in a million years drive my car through any of those places with monkeys, they just rip the sh*t out of cars - wing mirrors, wiper arms etc. etc.

    Yep just a normal one.

We took the time to go all the way there and seemed a shame to bypass them, plus my 3 year old loves monkeys so it was a toss up, a monkey outside the car taking a few bits off, or a 3 year old monkey inside the car taking my ear drums out

    Cheers

    Are you crazy

Remember a few years ago going to longleat. Me and a mate who had a vectra b estate. Mine was a company car (the monkeys obviously knew this as they left it alone). My mates veccy however - well thats a differrent story.

You could almost see them in NetworkQ overalls filling up the parts bin for the local VX dealer

They caused ££hundreds of damage including ripping out the back window rubber. At the time he thought it was hilarious - until he got the the carpark that was!!

last time I went to Woburn, I was very reluctant to go through the monkey enclosure, as I'd just picked up a new car (must have been one of my Cav's).
Luckily, the little monsters were having too much fun pulling the vinyl roof and wipers off an old Capri in front
I'm told that a quick blast of the screen washers can work wonders in getting them off!

My old car got attacked a while back, a rubber strip, aerial and the rear washer jet were taken.. and the cheeky little bu**er that took the rear washer jet then decided to come and pee on my window and then sat on the wing mirror chewing on the washer jet.. just to rub it in!

Many moons ago I had a monkey virtually strip my Sierra! Little git sat on the front scuttle with the washer jet in its mouth wanting a drink. So he got one, summer grade screenwash. He was foaming at the mouth and all sorts!! One tried to eat the boot spoiler, one was doing chin ups on an Astravan rear wiper, one was admiring himself in a mirror off a 5 series!!

Now you know why the monkeys have red arses too
