Cim replacement guide anyone??

Hi I going to replace my cim unit for a 2nd hand one as im having intermittent starting problems.

Can someone explain what I need and how to re-programme the new unit?

Can I use op-cpm to do this? Do the numbers have to be same etc?

I would not attempt to do it on opcom unless you know the software inside out... Support for the pirate/clone opcom is not allowed on here... Tech2 is the way to go on it..

i to am want to change my cim and i have a gm mdi tech2win can any one tell me the steps to do it thank

Fit the new CIM, go to Vectra > (year) > Body > Column Interface Module > Program Module and follow what it says on the screen from memory... I may be wrong.

You may also have to obtain security clearance from TIS to do it.

thanks security clearance from TIS gives me 24 hour licence but no sps but sps is for ecu right ?
