Default service cost - V6 cdti

Had the car almost a year now and it's coming up to being 2 years old. So I thought I'd get it serviced a couple of weeks early while still under Network Q, just in case they do find anything.

My local Vxl dealer quoted £140 including VAT.
As I say the car is almost 2 years old with 20k on it.

For the V6 I thought that to be very reasonable.

That's a very, very good price I'd say ... have a search around for similar threads ... that's by far the cheapest I've seen quoted for a V6 CDTI

    No mistake.

I purchased the car from them last year (and got a very good deal too).
When I booked it in they took the reg No. and called up the car's details. They confirmed it as being the V6 CDTi model & asked me for the current mileage.

Wardy, check the price. I assume you are doing it on Eco-Flex servicing. Mine was done on March 1st at Vx dealer in Hykeham Lincs. Mines same as yours 2 yrs old with on 14k on the clock. heres a breakdown of the invoice:

    key battery - £2.88
    Fully Syn Oil - £39.15
    Pollen Filter - £7.56
    Fuel Filter - £7.97
    Seal Ring - £0.74
    Filter Element - £29.79
    Brake Fluid change £21.28
    Labour Charge - £71.82

    VAT - £31.70

    Total £212.89

Note I also had a 10% privelage discount as I bought the car from them 12 months previous.

I got a price for an interim for mine, £99 all in, less the air filter I changed myself the other week.

    Vauxhall dealer too!

But then mines only the 2.2 DTi, so not really relevant.

    I'll get me coat!
