Default Cleaning my Veccies Tail Feathers

Hi All, My veccies tail pipes have become covered in soot / carbon deposits. Is there a goood cleaning product out there that will give a good clean / finish and not damage the chrome?

Autosol metal polish and AutoGlym metal polish are two favourites that work well. Meguiars also do a metal polish I believe.

I've recently used NXT Metal Polish and it's fantastic.

He's going to love you for that Andy.

Ian's are very dirty though. It's about the only thing that does get dirty on his car, as most of the time it's covered up on his drive.

    mine get covered aswell!

as they should for a oil burner! none of this DPF malarky!!!

i can vouch for Autosol aswell, works very well and lasts ages. only problem is the rag gets covered in soot and there is no way it sees the inside of the washing machine like the rest of my cloths! so it's handwash only.

Best hit them with "00" wire wool 1st then any of the products mentioned will do nicely although I use either Belgom or Briliant metal restorer/cleaner
