Are all your tyres the same age, the reason I ask is mine also pulled to the left had it back to Vauxhall three times, checked the alignment, tracking etc. Turned out that one of my tyres was newer than the rest and had more tread. I swapped the front wheels from left to right and the pull to the left dissappeared. Hope this helps

If your tyres have a directional tread you shouldn't swap them from side to side!!

Some cars just have a tendency to pull to the kerb, following the camber of the road. Try driving down the middle of the road (straddling the white)line to see if it still pulls left, preferably when there are no cars coming the other way!!

The tyres aren't directional, as you suggested I tried driving on the opposite side of the road to see if the car followed the camber of the road (pulled to the right this time) it didn't it still pulled to the left. I took it to an independent garage to have the aligment and tracking checked, (I wasn't conviced Vauxhall were checking it properly), turns out there was nothing wrong Vauxhall were right. It was one of the Vauxhall mechanics that suggested swapping the wheels.

    Default Wheel alignment

I had quite a bit of grief with my Omega, and the Signum has not been fantastic either re alignment. In a nutshell, I now use a tyre place which has a Hunter DSP400 full geometry rig. Costs about £25 for inspection and then £12.50 per adjustment. And a guy who knows what he is doing....

Even when `properly' aligned, both the Omega and the Signum will pull slighly to the left in the UK, and slightly to the right in France. ie they follow the camber.

Check the tyres have the `bias' set symetrically - this is the coloured band which is painted around the circumference on a new tyre. In other words the colours bands should be set as mirror images on each side of the car.

The other thing which also has quite an effect is the camber angle of the front wheels - even 1 degree difference can be felt. In fact you can adjust the car for UK roads by playing with the front camber. (no good when you go to France though !) The only problem is the Vectra C and Signum are not that adjustable, apart from the play in the bolt holes ...
