    Default REGAL or 888

I'm going for the full remap after the joyful fun of the Powerclick box HERE

Regal are about 30 minutes away so would be my 1st option, but what are the recommendations Regal or 888

Ooo, look mummy, a dirty word!

Regal : The act of or intention to B*gger up, under take of work no authorised and/or generally do nothing and make charges anyway.

I think that pretty much defines that dirty word and before someone comes along and says "you can't just say that without evidence".... I'll be quite happy to share said with any court of law if Regal (spit) wish to join me there?

So, in closing, I would definatly strongly recommend you do not take your car the Regal (spit). That leaves you with either 888 or Celtic.

deffo best going to tripple 8 as they will honour any problems that
if you have on the car and for that pice of mind they are obviously
vauxhall the vauxhall performance centre aswell so you can`t go wrong
    there m8.

a few ppl ie- spoons/brocks have had the remap done by them so if you
pm them then they can tell you the benefits and backup that they offer
    etc.

i`m not really keen on these out siders that do remaps etc so if i was to get 1
then i`ll deffo be going to 888.

I'm guessing the R**** is a bit of a dirty word around here, I'm trying to protect peoples blood pressure by removing egal from the word REGAL !! Doh, said it again.

Whats the score then ? have people had problems. I thought they used EDS mapping ,

I would say I'd go Superc***s, But I used to work for a compnay that sold super****s and I'm pretty sure they work like clothes companys (one size fits all) type of thing,

Regal's and 888's maps are written by EDS in Germany...

888 I have experience with on both cars and been excellent.

Another one for the equation is DAP Developments in Huddersfield.

    VERY INTERESTING,

Just been speaking with my VX dealer (Picador VX in Southampton) and they do remaps for the vectra 1.9CDTI 40bhp = £480 , and they will keep the warranty in place ! WOOHOO ,

I know its 10BHP less than Regal and 888, but warranty free problems !

I must say guys, if any one lives in the Portsmouth area as I do and uses local dealer there in Hilsea, give Picador a try,

I swapped as I had problems with both my car and the wife's Astra on servicing and warranty issues, swapped over to Picador and have nothing but respect for them and its well worth the 20 minute drive to them,

I wouldn't be at all suprised if it's a similar EDS map that they use, the 40bhp figure they quote might just be a more 'realistic' figure.

Earlier Vectra's got more power than the facelifted ones.

I guess thats more to do with emission control, the 2004 range kicks out 159g/km and I think the face lift Vectra is lower at 157g/km.

quick question, does remapping or adding a tuning unit increase the g/km level, if your adding the extra fuel surely in must increase ?

They must be pretty good for Picador to honor the warranty !
